I am Toshia Somerville, President of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated®, Nu Chi Omega Chapter. Our chapter was chartered on May 23, 1981. We are included in the Marvelous Mid-Atlantic Region, which includes North Carolina and Virginia. Our chapter serves citizens in the Oxford and Henderson area of North Carolina.

Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Incorporated® is under the leadership of our International President, Danette Anthony Reed and our Mid-Atlantic Regional Director, Nadine Vargas Stewart. Under the theme, “Soaring to Greater Heights of Service and Sisterhood”, Our organization serves our communities with six Initiatives:
