Chartered on May 23, 1981, the Nu Chi Omega Chapter serves the communities of Oxford and Henderson, North Carolina. We are proud to be part of the Marvelous Mid-Atlantic Region, which includes North Carolina and Virginia.

Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated® is led by our International President, Charletta Wilson Jacks, and our Mid-Atlantic Regional Director, Tracey D. Watkins. Guided by the theme “Championing Service. Empowering Sisterhood. Transforming the World.” we are committed to making a positive impact through six key initiatives.

At the center of this administration’s work is the signature program: AKA Foster the Future: From Here to Hope is a compassionate call to action designed to uplift vulnerable children and families by addressing immediate needs while creating long-term opportunities for stability, success, and belonging.
